Cabo Sur Productions produced the short documentary Shirampari: Herencias del Río, written and directed by Lucía Flórez. The film tells the story of a young Ashéninka boy from one of the most remote areas of the Peruvian Amazon, who must overcome fear and catch a giant catfish using only a hook—as part of his rite of passage into adulthood.
I designed the graphic identity for the documentary’s release, which was selected by several festivals, including Sundance. The creative process was inspired by a photo of the young protagonist and a drawing he made himself, capturing his unique perspective. The work included a logo, cover design, digital press kit, promotional postcards, and visuals for social media.
